Outside of his professional practice, you can find Wally hiking and paddling the Boundary Waters Canoe Area with his son, Rob. Or, supporting, coaching, and cheering on his daughter, Tori, as she manages multiple vintage clothing enterprises in Indianapolis. And working with his wife, Tonya, on their 9-acre homestead, Yellowwood Ridge, in Brown County as they design and build a semi-passive, hybrid grid-connected home with the vision of creating a teaching and learning center to promote sustainability and self-reliance.
